A nonprofit funding classroom supplies
Bridging business and the classroom.
The Supply Bridge applies business methodology — efficient allocation, clear accountability, measurable outcomes — to connect donors directly with the supplies teachers actually need.
Our mission
Teachers shouldn’t fund their own classrooms.
Teachers spend their own money on basic supplies every year, and traditional fundraising often can’t keep pace with what a classroom actually needs. The Supply Bridge closes that gap by bringing business discipline to giving — teachers post verified requests on DonorsChoose, and we allocate pooled donor funds to the ones we're able to support, so a donor's dollar becomes a student's supplies without friction in between.
“We wanted our giving to work the way we run everything else — measured, accountable, and going exactly where it's needed.”
Founding Partner, The Supply BridgeHow it works
A funding process built like a business, not a bake sale.
Fund
Businesses and individual donors contribute to a pooled fund, with full visibility into how it's allocated.
Review
Teachers post their classroom needs on DonorsChoose. We review open requests there and select which ones we have the opportunity to fund, using the same discipline a business applies to any budget decision.
Equip
Supplies reach the classroom, and donors receive a direct report on the outcome of their gift.
